Recording Sermons on a Budget
We are often asked questions about recording sermons in order to start podcasting -- what's an inexpensive way to do so, and how to do that while maintaining good audio quality?
Good news! We have put together a quick list that can have you broadcasting by your next sermon (considering you have Amazon Prime). Today's list is for any church that does NOT have a sound system from which you can easily record. If you are already using a lavalier microphone, we will be featuring other solutions.
- This lavalier mic: http://amzn.to/2dxOisr
- Your phone (in airplane mode, so you don't get interrupted by a phone call or anything) or an ipod touch or some such device
- This app (iPhone): https://itunes.apple.com/
...or this app (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....
In whichever recording app you use, you will want to output as either AAC, mp3 or m4a.
